Spongebob Squarepants

Did you know that each of the main characters in Spongebob Squarepants are based on one of the seven deadly sins? The seven deadly sins are greed, envy, sloth, pride, wrath, gluttony, and lust. It's pretty obvious who's who, but here's a guide just in case. Mr. Krabs loves nothing more than money. He represents greed. Plankton continually tries to steal the secret recipe to the Krabby Patty. He's envy. Patrick has once won the award for "doing absolutely nothing longer than anyone else". He's definitely lazy (Sloth). Sandy Cheeks is extremely proud of her home state Texas and loves being the only land creature in Bikini Bottom. She symbolizes pride. Squidward is filled with rage, and he directs that onto Spongebob and Patrick. He expresses wrath. There is also Garry, who signifies gluttony, since there are many episodes about feeding Gary, Gary eating the couch, and even Gary becoming obese. Last but not least, it's time for Spongebob. Spongebob is an optimistic, annoying, and fully positive character who is lustful for life itself.
